Well, we all knew it would happen sooner or later. It seems like every website that gains rapid exposure is bought-out within a couple months. While Twitter has been around for more than 3 years, only recently has the social media website taken off like crazy. Soon after getting exposure from Oprah, Twitter became a household name and now purports to have more than 30 million unique visitors each month. Of course, with the recent surge in the momentum of Twitter, next month the site may have millions more users. The attraction of the micro blog seems to be found in the unique limit on the length of the blog posts, making blogging less time consuming that traditional blogs.
